TERMS + CONDITIONS

By purchasing any service package from Silk + Sage Solutions, you "the Client" agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern our working relationship and ensure mutual clarity, respect, and efficiency.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Silk + Sage Solutions provides virtual assistance, social media support, and website design services as outlined in the selected package. Services will be delivered in a professional and timely manner, based on the agreed-upon scope. Any additional services beyond the package must be requested in writing and may incur additional charges at the hourly rate of $75.
Website Design: Silk + Sage Solutions exclusively creates websites using Squarespace or Wix. Fees do not include site publishing, hosting fees, or any related costs associated with publishing the website. The Client is responsible for purchasing and maintaining these services separately.


PAYMENT TERMS

  • All services must be paid in full before work begins unless a custom payment plan is agreed upon in writing.

  • Monthly retainer packages (admin and social media support) are billed on a recurring basis at the beginning of each month.

  • Website design services require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining 50% due upon project completion and before website launch.

  • Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Late payments exceeding 5 business days past the due date may result in a suspension of services and a late fee of 5% of the outstanding balance.

  • A 1.7% + $0.30 admin fee has been added to the final amount to cover transaction processing cost.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS – TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all digital products sold by Silk + Sage Solutions, including but not limited to Canva templates, guides, mockups, calendars, and downloadable resources.

Digital Product Delivery
All digital products are delivered electronically. Upon successful payment, customers receive instant access via download link or email. No physical items are shipped.

Refund Policy for Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products and instant access, all digital product sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are offered once a purchase has been completed.

Usage & Licence
All digital products are licensed for personal use or use within one business owned and operated by the purchaser, unless otherwise stated on the product sales page.

Purchasing a digital product does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights. Silk + Sage Solutions retains full ownership of all designs, templates, and content.

Permitted Use
Digital products may be used to create content, visuals, or materials for the purchaser’s own business or personal brand.

Prohibited Use
The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing any digital product

  • Sharing download links or Canva template access

  • Selling or distributing modified versions of the product

  • Claiming authorship or ownership of the original design

  • Copying or recreating the product for redistribution or sale

Access Issues
If a purchaser experiences difficulty accessing their digital product, they must contact Silk + Sage Solutions for support. Access issues do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Pricing Changes
Prices for digital products may change at any time. Purchases made prior to a price change or promotion are not eligible for price adjustments, credits, or partial refunds.

 
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure a smooth workflow, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide all necessary information, content, and access needed to complete the agreed-upon tasks in a timely manner.

  • Respond to communication within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 48 hours).

  • Review and approve work within agreed deadlines to avoid project delays.

  • Maintain respectful and professional communication.


REVISIONS + EDITS
Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be billed at the standard hourly rate of $75.

Admin & Social Media Packages: Minor adjustments are included; excessive changes beyond reasonable scope will be subject to additional fees.

Website Design:

  • Tier 1: 1 round of revisions

  • Tier 2: 2 rounds of revisions

  • Tier 3: 3 rounds of revisions

  • Additional revisions beyond the included amount will be charged at $75/hr.


Once the Client has provided final approval for any content, design, or materials, Silk + Sage Solutions is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies discovered after approval has been given. Any post-approval revisions will be subject to additional charges at the standard hourly rate.

SERVICE + DURATION + TERMINATION
Weekly Retainer Packages (Admin & Social Media):

  • Services auto-renew each Sunday unless canceled.

  • Clients may terminate services with a 14-day written notice before the next billing cycle.

  • If the Client terminates services mid-week, no partial refunds will be issued.

  • Unused hours do not roll over to the next month.

 
Website Design Packages:

  • Once the deposit is paid and work has started, no refunds will be issued.

  • If the Client cancels before completion, the Client will be invoiced for the hours worked at $75/hr.


CONFIDENTIALITY + DATA PROTECTION
Silk + Sage Solutions agrees to maintain confidentiality of any sensitive business information shared by the Client.
Client data will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without written consent.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All materials, graphics, and content created by Silk + Sage Solutions remain the intellectual property of Silk + Sage Solutions until full payment is received.
Upon full payment, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use all deliverables for their business.
Silk + Sage Solutions retains the right to showcase work in its portfolio unless the Client requests confidentiality.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Silk + Sage Solutions will not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.
Losses due to third-party service failures (e.g., website hosting, social media platform issues, etc.).
Any issues caused by Client delays, lack of communication, or failure to provide necessary materials.


FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or internet failures.

GOVERNING LAW
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation before legal action is pursued.
